• Typical lifespan of a single set of silicone molds: about 10–25 pieces/mold (related to structural complexity, demoulding difficulty, and material type)
• Need larger quantities: multiple sets of silicone molds can be opened for parallel production to shorten the total delivery time

If the part has structures such as undercuts, deep cavities, and thin walls, we will give suggestions on "parting/number of mold openings/estimated mold life" during the evaluation.

Dimensional results depend on master-pattern accuracy, silicone mold shrinkage, and casting-resin shrinkage.

• Typical dimensional accuracy reference: ±0.1–0.2 mm (varies with size and structure)
• Surface finish: the master pattern texture can be reproduced for an injection-mold-like appearance.
• Critical assembly dimensions: define them on a 2D drawing so we can review tolerances and compensation strategy.

For appearance- or assembly-critical parts, identify cosmetic surfaces, assembly datums, and critical tolerances.

Vacuum casting typically uses polyurethane (PU) resins formulated to simulate a range of production plastics:

• ABS-like / PC-like: housings and structural parts
• Transparent/translucent: lampshades, observation windows, etc. (can be used with polishing/spraying to enhance appearance)
• Flexible, TPU-like grades: buttons, overmolds, and seals
• Reinforcement/temperature resistance/flame retardant, etc.: evaluated based on project requirements and available materials

Different materials have a great impact on "color, hardness, transparency, temperature resistance, and strength." When uploading, specifying the target attributes (such as "Shore hardness/whether it is transparent/temperature resistance requirements") will match the solution faster.

Lead time includes master-pattern production, silicone mold making, casting, and finishing, and varies with quantity and complexity.

• Common reference for small batches: approximately 5–10 business days (depending on project evaluation)
• Large Quantity: the cycle can be shortened by running multiple sets of silicone molds in parallel
• Expedited support: Please note the expected delivery date, and we will evaluate the production schedule and feasible process paths.

If you have a firm event, trial-assembly, or customer deadline, include the required arrival date and destination city so we can plan delivery.

Yes. We review process feasibility before mold making, including:

• Parting line and demoulding direction recommendations (to avoid strain and deformation)
• Risk warning and optimization plan for thin-walled/deep cavity/undercut structures
• Gate location, exhaust and bubble risk control recommendations
• Control points for cosmetic and assembly surfaces, with sample approval when required

We will not modify the design without your approval, and all adjustment suggestions will be implemented after your confirmation.

Common risk points in vacuum casting mainly come from structural and appearance requirements:

• Deep cavities, blind holes, slender and thin walls: more prone to bubbles/material shortage/deformation
• Large-area plane and high-gloss appearance: higher requirements on molds and post-processing
• Undercut and complex demoulding: it may be necessary to separate parts/change the parting or add auxiliary structures

We will reduce risks through process design and process control:

• Optimize pouring and exhaust paths, control vacuum degassing and curing windows
• Shrinkage compensation and inspection planning for critical dimensions
• Produce one or two approval samples when appearance or assembly fit must be confirmed.

If you have clear standards for appearance grade (such as "high gloss/no orange peel/no flow marks"), please indicate the target effect and reference sample in the remarks.

Yes. For appearance-critical or assembly-critical parts, we recommend sample approval before the full run:

• First-article review: color, transparency, finish, critical dimensions, and assembly fit
• After confirming that everything is correct: then carry out replica production in batches to reduce the risk of rework.

You can also upload reference samples/effect requirements, and we will write the "acceptance points" into the review and inspection process.
