Commonly used sheet metal fabrication techniques include:
- Laser cutting: suitable for complex contours, rapid prototyping, and small and medium-sized batch blanking of plates
- CNC punching/turret punching: suitable for repeated hole patterns, ventilation holes, louvers and batch panel production
- CNC bending: suitable for forming shells, brackets, frames and multi-fold structures
- Metal inert gas (MIG), tungsten inert gas (TIG) and spot welding for frames, guards and structural assemblies
- Riveting and press riveting with self-clinching nuts, studs and other fasteners
- Sheet metal forming, stretching, flanging and local reinforcement
- Powder coating, painting, brushing, anodizing, electroplating, assembly and other finishing options
After the customer uploads the 2D/3D drawings, the engineer will match the appropriate process route based on material, plate thickness, quantity, tolerance, appearance and delivery time requirements.
